Another interesting Samsung model release announced recently is
the SGH-S300. This is a triband GSM phone supporting GPRS (Class
8) services, a feature which allows it to reach maximum download
speeds of up to 43.2 kbps.
It
uses a UFB-LCD display with the ability to produce 65,536 colors
with a screen resolution of 128 x 128 pixels. The handset comes
complete with an outer sub-display using STN-LCD technology,
producing up to 256 colors and features animations when a call is
being received.
There's also support for 40 voice polyphonic ringtones, Java
applications, and can receive MMS messages. It also has the
ability to send and receive EMS messages with pre-configured sound
and images.
