Sony Ericsson Image Editor is a free software that lets you crop, zoom, rotate, adjust colour, contrast and brightness settings for many PC image file formats. You can then send the resulting image directly to your phone. 

You will need a Data Cable or IRDA (infrared connection) to connect and transfer files from your PC to your phone.

There is a collection of free backgrounds for you to experiment with, contained within the package.  plus all the backgrounds available in the T100/A800/V200/S300 section

Operating system:   Win 98¸ Win NT 4¸ Windows 2000¸ Windows 98SE¸ Windows ME¸ Windows XP   Compatible with:  T300¸ T68¸ T68i¸ T68ie   Install instructions 1. Uninstall older versions of Sony Ericsson Image Editor SW. 2. Download installation package to computer (remember where you place the downloaded installation package file). 3. Close all processes. 4. Double click on the downloaded installation package file. 5. Follow installation instructions. 6. Restart your computer if needed. How to use To run the image editor program: Double click on the Sony Ericsson Image Editor icon on your desktop or go to Programs/Sony Ericsson via the Start menu. Use the phone button to choose your phone model. Connect your phone via cable*, infrared (or Bluetooth for T68). Note that it may take 30 seconds before the phone gets identified. Open an image file by pressing the file button. Adjust the image with the edit buttons in the lower left corner. Use the selection frame to choose a wanted part of the picture (look at the preview to the right). The selection frame can be moved using the mouse. When satisfied with the editing, and if a supported phone is connected to your PC, the image can be downloaded to your phone by pressing the download button. (You need to confirm the download on your phone). The image can always be saved on your PC in the phone-image archive by pressing the save button. The saved images can be opened inside the selection frame by pressing the archive button. Images can be edited and viewed for a phone other than the one connected but download is only active if the chosen phone in the image editor is the same as the phone connected to the PC. If the communication to the phone does not work (cable or IR ) the right COM port for the connection might need to be enabled. (Neither cable nor phone is needed to be able to install the SW on your PC.) To un-install the Image Editor select Settings/Control Panel from the Start menu. Double-click on the Add/Remove Programs icon. Select Sony Ericsson Image Editor from the list of installed programs. Click on the Add/Remove button * E.g. RS232 Cable DRS-10, Enhanced RS232 Cable DRS-11, USB Cable DCU-10 Notes Installation of the T300 IR modem will give warning on WinXP and Win2000. Ignore the warning; the modem drivers are fully tested. Digital signatures for these modems are not available as of today.
